I know it's November but my wife just asked me what I wanted for Christmas, the problem is I DON'T KNOW!
I have too many items that I would like, but which should I get?
Please post here any MA related christmas presents to give everyone some idea of what to get or ask for.
I'll start.... New GI
Any Iain Abernethy DVD's (Which one? I will already be getting The Seminars: Volume 2 as I'm in it) or Books
Any Geoff Thompson DVD's or Books

As regards Iain Abernethy's books - get all of them!! They're all a great read. My personal 2 faves are Throws For Strikers and Karate's Grappling Methods.

If you want a cheaper alternative (or, rather, if your wife doesn't want to spend so much on a Tokaido!) the the own-brand "Accent" rage of gi by karate-kid.co.uk are pretty good. I have a Tokaido, however, and do admit that they're one of the nicest and best quality gi out there. if your wife can afford to splurge on a Tokaido for you (well, it is Christmas! ) then it's a great investment!!

If I was getting a new gi it would have to be a Shureido gi for me, had one years ago and it was tip top.

Tokaido's stores??? Personally I would be very careful about buying Tokaido from anywhere but the direct source. There are so many sham products out there.
