The last film I went to see was American Dreamz, which is alright but nowt special. I was going to see Silent Hill on this past Tuesday but it wasn't on when I wanted to go watch it.

I've pretty much stopped going to the cinema for all but the biggest films (last I saw was King Kong). Everytime I go someone pisses me off. During King Kong it was a girl in a wheel chair sat to my left that looked at her mobile every 10 minutes. A little light going on in the corner of your eye...every ten minutes...through a 3 hour+ film. I was gonna say something but didn't want to be seen bullying a handicapped person. And then questioned if I would want to say something if it was some big geezer doing it rather than a crippled girl. So I did the British thing and sat there gettting cheesed off. Before that it's been people knocking the back of my chair, talking or eating from the noisiest bag of sweets known to man. What's so hard about sitting in a cinema? Sit still, eat what you've got in the first 15 minutes, don't talk, switch off your mobile and try not to kick the chair in front. It's a simple as that. Sorry to put a downer on your thread Angela. Silent hill *looks* interesting but computer games tend to make really bad films. I don't see this being any different.

I wouldn't go to the cinema either, but I will see it either on sky or DVD, I can support all of the above and add that endless dribble of people to the loo, one goes then everybody else goes.

Totally agree! Not the last time I went to the cinema, but the time before I had a bit of a to-do with a group of young lasses. They were talking (loudly, not even whispering) for most of the film, as well as throwing popcorn around and just generally making a nuisance of themselves. I was feeling in a stroppy mood so I asked them politely to be quiet, which they didn't and then I went and had a bit of a go at them for being so rude. They told me to 'go forth and multiply', so I went and got one of the cinema staff and they chucked them out. I hate people who talk during films. I can cope with rustling sweet bags (just) but people who decide that it;s fun to hold a conversation for the entire movie ought to be shot. Repeatedly.

LOL, last time I went to the cinema there were two little tarts behind me that decided to chatter and giggle through the film. Eventually I turned around and asked them if they intended to chat through the whole film. After that ll I had to put up with was their knees banging in the back of my seat "accidently". *Joy*
