It depends on what mood my sensei is in, sometimes she'll accept questions and sometimes she will ignore us and let us struggle through it, then she will shout at us if we can't exactly do it perfectly the first time.

I'm jealous of you lot, my instructor doesn't really promote questions, and the only question that I have asked, he didn't know the answer anyway Senseis dont know everthing ..even though they would like you to think it ;D! My teacher welcomes questions, but I dont like to ask them because he will stop the class and point out every little part of the question you are asking...and explain more than what you wanted to know !! I usually wait till after class ! *bows respectfully*

I ask. I won't join a dojo where I can't ask questions. It's an important part of learning.
I am okay if the instructor doesn't know the answer. After all, nobody knows everything. What I appreciate the most is an instructor who can admit that they don't know, but when you come in for the next training session they have an answer for you.
