I'm going to see James Blunt because I served alongside him in the Army...plus his music is pretty good! Andy, when is he touring? I like his music and have played his album quite a lot, so I'd probably want to go see him too.

AndyM, what would you rather do, pick dirt from under your toenails or see Donny Osmond. So yes you win ....... I would have preferred to pick dirt from behind your toenails too. I agree James Blunt's pretty good, Red Hot Chilli Peppers more my cuppa though.

Not that you'd truly be intrigued by the musical interests of an old fart like me but....
I think the most contemporary thing I bought was Leftfield.
As muso, I like things with clearly original content, and/or good production.
Two favourite songs;
One would be 'Here comes the flood' by Peter Gabriel. and the other would be a track by Elvis Costello and Burt Baccarrach, which I think was called 'God give me strength'
Really broad tastes though. Stevie Wonder, Steve Winwood, Genesis, Yes, ElP, Luther Vandross, Eric Clapton, Earth Wind & Fire, Chique, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Donald Fagen, Metallica, Rachmaninov.......you name it.

Peter Gabriel rocks! Seen him in concert twice - fantastic!!! Well take a trip to Asda, as his new Compilation album has all his best stuff on it. It's two CD's for £7.97. I saw him live back in 84'

Oh yes!! I've seen quite a few of my favourite bands but never got to go to a Chili's gig yet. I'd love to see them play live - top class band!
