Yeah! Labrynth was cool. I also liked Willow, but I'm just a bit sad.
I think the last film I bought on DVD was The Terminal. It was a cheapie ex-rental copy. Hey, why pay full price?!

Hehe I bought Stephen King's "It" on dvd. Cool!! The clown in 'It' I remember being really creepy. Played by Tim Curry wasn't it? One I rented and have an eye out to buy is the recent Tom Hanks one. I think it's called The Terminal, where he has to live in an airport. Hilarious and touching. All time favourite is 'Bladerunner'

Yep, the rather wonderful Tim Curry. I think he's great - anyone here seen/got "Clue"? Fantastic film!! Although as Pennywise the clown a lot scarier. Especially if you don't like clowns, like me.
I love Bladerunner too. Another fantastic, cheesey 80s film! ;D

Yeah,Tim Curry rocks! I loved Clue - I ain't seen that in years, I'm gonna have to get it and have a nostalgia moment... Tim Curry was even good in the crappy Home Alone 2, much better than that annoying kid anyway. I watched "The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe" the other day. Anyone remember that BBC series from the 80's? It used to be shown on a Sunday tea time. That was cool in a cheesy kinda way too.

Please tell me that wasn't the 80's. Seems like yesterday. Read those books in primary 5, and bought the whole lot cheap at a bargain book store last year. I look forward to reading them to my little girl when she's a little older. Interesting trivia which you might not know. J.R.R. Tolkien (Lord of the Rings etc) and C.S. Lewis were contemporaries. Tolkien told Lewis he didn't think the Chronicles of Narnia were fit for release, and that he could do better. When I read them as a kid, I didn't realise how allegorical they were. Speaking of years gone by. Blakes Seven The Tommorrow People Space 1999 Saphirre and Steel Logans Run.... Or am I just a nostalgic old fart.

lol, you're a nostalgic old fart, just like the rest of us.
Yes, The Chronicles of Narnia WERE released in the 80's. It doesn't seem that long since they were on the telly. They made The Lion..., plus The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Price Caspian and The Silver Chair as well.
