The seminar was hosted by Senei Ray Gilhooley, 6th Dan Ryukyu Kempo and was conducted by Shihan Evan Pantazi, 7th Dan and Renshi Jim Hulse, 7th Dan Uechi Ryu and the Chief Instructor for Kyusho International in the UK. 128 people attended and I was afforded a VERY warm welcome when I was unexpectedly introduced to the class and thanked for making the journey from Cardiff ;D
Topics covered included the body's electrical system and how use of points can disrupt this, Kata bunkai, groundfighting, drills that make use of PP's in motion and point combinations. The best part of the day for me was the section whereby kyusho was used to deal with multiple attackers - awesome.
Edinburgh is one of my favourite drinking towns - having been there several times for rugby internationals (never once been to the stadium lol) and i would have loved to stay the night - however, funds did not allow and I was forced to book a same day return flight. However, the Scottish boys would not let me go before dragging me to Rose Street, kicking and screaming, nfor a quick 5 pints before I had to catch the plane - result all round.
Seminar 9/10 People/Hospitality 10/10 ;D
