This is a review for Blitz Sport ( www.blitzsport.com
) - and specifically ordering through them over the Internet.
Martyn Harris (RDKI) graciously agreed to order some new belts for me a couple of weeks ago, because I wanted a longer length (It was easier than losing weight ) and he can get them at cheaper prices. He ordered them through the Blitz website and left them with my address as the delivery address, because he lives in Wales and I live in civilisation (HAHA ;D).
The belts didn't turn up despite him paying express delivery for them. So he phoned Blitz and they said that the belts had been dispatched to him, but now they weren't sure where they were. They said that they would reissue some belts to me which would be here by Wednesday at the latest. Well I have still not received any so today I rang their "customer service" (There's a joke) line. They appeared to be clueless as to what was going on, and told me the belts had been signed for by someone (I have no idea whom) so as far as they were concerned the matter was closed (what's the point of signed for service if they just give it to anyone???). She then contradicted herself and said to ignore that but that she didn't know what was going on so she would get someone to ring back, maybe later today but most likely Monday. The women seemed brusk and rude.... She also tried to initially make out that they didn't have my address despite the email sitting in front of me to the contrary! No one there seems to know what's going on, and it appears they don't follow the old saying of the customer always being right!
Based on my experiences I would highly recommend that if you actually want to receive your products that you avoid ordering Blitz. I have had a problem with Blitz before, when I ordered a pair of trousers through another shop, and had to wait for weeks as Blitz did not fulfill the order to the shop - despite constant promises to the contrary.
Blitz gets a big thumbs down!
