So as we all seem to admit we are fanatical martial artists how many people got a martial arts related gift/s for Christmas? (Not self bought)
I did ;D I was given a new gi.

Unfortunately I didn't. I was hankering after a new pair of bag gloves but Santa missed me out. I have got one good MA prezzie, even though I've had to (literally) do-it-myself - our dojo is being done up! Yay! The first coat of paint went on the walls this morning and Sensei spent most of the afternoon battling to fit a new (draught-free) fire door. It's new skirting boards tomorrow, along with more painting and then we can start work on the suspended ceiling and the pulley system for the hanging bags. The new mats will be arriving soon (we hope), so it is all gonna look GREAT! Woo hoo!!

Have you watched the DVDs yet? I've spent most of my holiday time being beaten up by my 6 year old on the PS2 playing Shrek: Super Slam so I've only had time to watch the Jamie Clubb DVD. I hope to watch the rest as soon as possible, especially Iain's The Seminars: Volume 2 DVD as I attended the seminar.
