I was wondering what every one here is all about. What typs of stuff do you all like doing? Sports, Hobbies? Is eveyone married single?
Sorry I'm curious by nature.
To start off Im into working out- HUGE!. I love weights and swimming and running.
I also like Kayaking and triathalon. I love animals, horses, dogs, cats, and spend hours and hours reading- everything from Fantasy to Biographies to History. Nothing I love more than curling up in front of the fireplace with a good book!
I would love to pursue a career in either sports psych, or working with challenged persons towards richer, fuller happier lives.
OOPS! I forgot. Im SINGLE (yay). Last boyfriend was a cheater and a wuss. He got beaten up outside the bar (Mr. Martial arts himself!) and he deserved it. It's very refreshing to be free and eligable again!

Hi there Colleen. Your ex sounds like a real wuss. I have been in hundreds of street fights. My life has been threatened loads of times but I have never once lost a fight.
Do you have any pics?

Colleentigerpants You don’t get to know all about me, for lots of rather complicated reasons my general anonymity is important (I think that makes me enigmatic).
I read English, Psychology and Sport Science, which linked into sports psychology. As a discipline I have also enjoyed philosophy (western) and mysticism (eastern).
I have been a student of Karate for 25 years and still get the same buzz from training as I did when I first started.
I enjoy anything physical, my bodies not so much a temple as an amusement park.
I enjoy reading and will have a go at anything before I dismiss it as dross or commend it as worthwhile.
Anything else you would like to know…?

Daniel you flirt! I imagine you in nothing but a big Tiger suit Grrrr yourself <lol>. Random, I like the anology of the amusement park that's a better way to put it! Also dont worry, your need for veiled secrecy makes you more mysterious! I very much agree with you about reading material. I think a large part of it for me is the individual writer's style. I can't believe some of the topics that have absolutely captivated me, in large part due to the exceptional captivating style. I usually know in 2 chapters!

I feel a bit silly because I don't really do tiger kung fu, sorry Colleen. But I can roar like a tiger if the situation dictates it. Are you working Saturday also? I work in a mental institution. It's crazy.

Hi Colleen, I'm 26, live in South Yorkshire and work with Special Educational Needs children (up to 11 y.o.). I used to be a student at The University of Sheffield too, but I've now finished my degree and I'm FREE!!! Way hay! I love animals too - my house is a little bit like a zoo, because of my pets, lol. Cockatiels, budgies, guinea pigs, fish and an evil hamster. I used to own a dog too. I also have a horse, but he doesn't live with me. Hard to fit a horse in a terraced house... Aside from martial arts I like reading (basically anything), music (ditto), astronomy and pool. As for sports, I like horseriding, swimming and squash although I don't get to play these days. I like hanging about in pubs with my mates too.

HA Alfie your house sounds even more hectic than mine!
I had a horse growing up as well (at my grandads- who lived close his name was Buckshot!) I miss him soooo much. One day Im going to move back into the country and get 2!. Course I'll need a handsome Brad Pitt type to ride with.
How do you find your work? Thats one type of general area I was considering. There is a behavioral/educational section at Univ. that I've been dabbling with.

I had a horse growing up as well (at my grandads- who lived close his name was Buckshot!) I miss him soooo much. One day Im going to move back into the country and get 2!. Course I'll need a handsome Brad Pitt type to ride with. Sadly, I have no Brad Pitt types to ride with but my horse is happy enough without Mr Pitt anyway... He lives at a Riding for the Disabled Association stables and gives lessons to their students in exchange for his board and lodging. He's also been selected (along with his main disabled rider!) for the Paralympic Games trials, which are being held soon. How do you find your work? Thats one type of general area I was considering. There is a behavioral/educational section at Univ. that I've been dabbling with. I love my job. It's stressful, tiring, underpaid, overworked, frustrating and enough to drive anyone to a breakdown, but I think it's great! It's also very, very, very rewarding working with children who have Special Educational Needs. To me, the look on a child's face when he or she finally 'gets' something that they've been struggling with for ages is worth more than a zillion pounds.

I like drinking and smoking and the usual stuff.
i like films quite a bit, i recently purchased the pedro almodavar collection from hmv. i like atame (tie me up, tie me down) the best.
i also like ordinary holywood films like batman and sin city recently, which made me excited in my pants.
i work at sainsburys and have been saying id get out of it for ages...i want to go to uni, but i just decided to work for a bit first. so im currently saving up for that. i want to study music.
I like singing a lot and my musical taste is a lot broader than i first made out. i dont really like the venga boys and im surprised anyone took that seriously.
i obviously like judo, and to be honest i like fighting a lot as well. lately ive been really stressed and did get in a really nasty fight a few weeks ago and had to evade the cops after.
i have a girlfriend called sarah...or fiance rather. we are very happy together. i like her bum.
recently ive been reading this forum and angela is being mean to me, and i saw that she has some big colluage thing devoted to pictures of herself, which i found really weird.
