Hi, Another one to wet your appetites. Line all the Students up in Grade Order Looking straight forward, pick someone to go to the end where the beginners are. Then the chosen one walks up the line and at any time he can attack Jodan Tsuki, the person in the line may only block ( i.e. there are no counters ) They can attack as few or as many as they wish, when they get to the Dan Grade end someone else is chosen. I find this Drill Helps Zanchin and also after doing this for a few sessions you can tell which Students have underlying issues with each other. Enjoy and get posting

That sounds like a good drill - I'll have to try that.
I've done a variation of that where everyone lines up and one person goes along the line attacking EVERYONE in the line - jodan or chudan or a mix. if you mix up the various types of tsuki's then it gets more interesting too, instead of just sticking with oi-tsuki or whatever.

Yes that sounds good, I will try that but I think it safer to use combinations from 5th Kyu up. Try this one exactly the same as my post but everyone has to be quiet and the BB's have their eyes closed making them use hearing instead of sight.
