Dues to an unfortunate bout of the Norwalk virus I have been home from work since last Thursday. This has plunged me into the murky realms of daytime TV Sat watching "Murder, She Wrote" for what seems the 1 millionth time today I had to wonder why anyone would actually invite Jessica Fletcher over to their house any more? Every time she goes anywhere someone dies!! You'd think they'd learn and avoid her!! Yes I really do need to rejoin society Angela

Daytime TV blows.
I seem to recall there was an epsiode hybrid of Murder, She Wrote, and something else. Diagnosis Murder? The New Adventures of Superman? Columbo?
It blew as well.

Daytime TV? Gotta watch out or it'll melt your brains! People spend all day watching it and finish the day complaining that there was nothing worth watching all day Mick

Ooh, can you give us a full update on what happens in neighbours? I rarely see it these days as i don't seem to get home from work in time anymore.
Saw a bit yesterday and there seemed to be some dancing classes going on, Harold took part. There was also some boy who liked setting fire to things. He had issues.
Thank you.

Neighbours... It's a soap! Nothing happens! Or, you can watch the first 5 minutes every couple of months to keep up to date with events on such shows! * bangs head on wall * Mick

Crikey, according to your smileys that post took you through an outstanding variety of emotion. You must be exhausted.
My advice, when things get too much, DON'T set fire to buildings. There's a lesson for everyone.
Stay safe, kids.

Soaps is like drugs... worse, they're like those new-fangled designer drugs. You try it just once "to see what it's like" and unless you're a very extraordinary person, you get hooked. And you don't even realise! Too tired for more smilies... Mick

Well you have just about summed up the entire storyline there. Hmm apart from that Irish blokey is not allowed access to his daughter and is sad, and Toady and his girlfriend have yet again split up - so she'll probably end up with Stuart. Every day is a party down in Australia! ;D ;D ;D Angela

Crikey are Harold and Toady still in Neighbours? I haven't watched it in yonks (years!) and they're still there??? Anyway, daytime TV is *insert own choice of expletive here*. I watched a little over the summer when I was off work after having my tonsils out (nasty, nasty operation, don't ever have it done!) and I swear that I could literally feel my brain melting because of it... Get well soon Angela! Even work has got to be better than Murder She Wrote, eh?

Hmm, couldn't reach your video/dvd collection then.
There is a school of thought that daytime TV is a form of convalescent therapy, in that sleep is a great healer.
Hope you feel better soon/ if not already

Daytime TV is just another plot by The Man to get people with the slightest glimmer of intelligence into the workforce so that the fatcats can get themselves another boat or helicopter for xmas, paid for by the sweat of their workers. It could also be that Daytime TV is designed to swallow those people who are just a drain on society into a kind of mental oblivion, melting their brains so that they can't steal jobs from honest folks.
