I couldn't agree more. Nothing like a 1/2 pissed up, fresh from puberty tough guy, picking a fight with "the" wrong person.

I have been a kata person a lot since I was afraid of kumite. After starting out some sessions with good knowledgeable coleagues I started enjoyng kumite more. In the end I just love being there in the dojo .. everything is a treat for me

Its using what you grafted for all those hours. Payback time is how I like to look at it, so to speak.
You can do 100 doi chongs, 300 mantis pushups, and hit the dummy countless times but when you do it for real on the street its priceless. Kev knows what i'm talking about..clear as crystal.
