Well..that was fun! I have dialup connection and it took 41 minutes to download that file...only to find out it has an extension that my WinXP Pro doesn't recognize. Now, it says I can get a program off the net for free, but it's HUGE! It would take me a day to download it. Sorry folks...I can't help you here.

i looked at the video, your version of chinto looks a lot different than ours but not having learned that kata yet i can't tell you what the specific differences are. i do know however that ours has some crazy weird jumping back kick type of thing where you kind of go to a horizontal position in the air and land in a pushup type position...my wrists are not looking forward to learning this kata. over the years they have made allowances so that older people could skip this crazy section and just kind of spin down to the floor but only being 26 i don't think they are going to let me out of it yet maybe is should wait another 20 years or so to pass my next belt test

That sound sounds like our Unsu! It does, I was only doing it last night! Kick the outstretched hand whilst performing a full 360 and landing in a squat thrust poition (not sure of the correct name) hands pointing in towards the toes to form an 'arrow' shape.

That sound sounds like our Unsu! why the face? is learning that kata going to hurt as much as i think it is? Well...it's my least favourite Kata. It's a nightmare to perform and get right, epsecially the nasty spinny jump thing and the bit at the beginning where you drop to the floor and do 2 kicks.

I have my name down for a double hip replacement just so that I can get up off the floor. Although the drop (collapse) is the fastest anyone has ever seen,
