My excellent plan was thwarted by the instructor not only being there on time (which he is every week), but also he was unusually wearing a kind of kung fu suit. When I say that, I mean he doesn’t usually wear a kung fu suit, he was wearing it in a normal fashion. I clearly couldn’t compete with this, so I sat in the corner looking sheepish. It seemed the most appropriate course of action and I fully stand by my decision.
This term I believe we’ll be working on completing the 15 or so moves of the short form, I know around half of that now. I think that’ll be the main basis although we have tried other things like very simple attempts at one hand pushing hands, a bit of silk reeling and these fun exercises where you have to try and push your opponent over. Also last night we did a bit of excellently named Chi Gung, I think it was called “The hungry bear scoops the …………………….honey”. (why the long pause? Ho ho)
One does need patience in abundance to do this martial art, but the good news is that I do get spam hands, so hooray for that.

One does need patience in abundance to do this martial art, I think that's why so many practitioners are old 'cos it takes so long to get anywhere in Tai Chi that you're about 120 by the time you've got to grips with the first Form! lol BTW, you need to work on your jokes a bit. ;D
