........what's the "labradoodle" incident that's mentioned in your signature? You gotta tell us - it sounds like a great story! ;D

I've just got in the house after a week away in Rhodes. I've been travelling for a while and I am NOT a big fan of flying. When I've collected my head together a bit I'll relate the story, but to be honest it's probably one of those "You had to be there" moments There are a few people on this board that were there though, and they'll probably agree that Angela and volumous amounts of alcohol don't mix. **shakes head** ;D

Pretty hot! Rhodes is pretty expensive though, it can be hard on the old wallet. The Greeks are very friendly though. The only thing I didn't like seeing was the way they treat their animals; a lot of stray cats and dogs around in various states of poor health

Whereabouts in Rhodes were you?
I've been to Lindos on Rhodes if that means anything to you.

I was up near Rhodes Old Town. I did take a boat trip down to Lindos though, to see the Acropolis. Very hot and old, and a long walk up the cliffs!

Well the last accomodation you passed on the way up to that old Venetian fortress was where I stayed. Climbed that path six times a day for two weeks and my thighs were like steel, steel I tell you (this is where you swoon girls. lol) by the end of the holiday The bay you arrived in, was where I had my first ever attempt at waterskiing, but that's a story for another day.
